We work with three qualified Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) clinicians to provide comprehensive drug and alcohol assessments for the courts across New Zealand.
The AOD clinicians we work with are DAPAANZ-registered and bring over 35 years of combined experience. They specialise in identifying the complex factors underlying addiction and antisocial behaviour, presenting a clear nexus for the sentencing judge. They also seek to understand and highlight clients' strengths and protective factors, which can help to break cycles of crime and dysfunction.

The AOD report was incredibly well-received by the judge—he was moved by it, and the client received two months’ home detention.
But perhaps more importantly, the client said that the Clinician was incredible and really got him to open up about his past. He felt very comfortable with him, and as a result, the client has decided he wants to become an AOD counsellor.

The majority of our alcohol and drug assessments are conducted online (unless otherwise requested). The flexibility of online drug and alcohol assessments means we can deliver cost-effective AOD reports for clients across New Zealand, including in Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington, Tasman, Nelson, Malborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
We are also available to travel to the various prisons located around Aotearoa, including the Spring Hill Prison Corrections Facility, Rimutaka Prison, Manawatū Prison, Hawkes Bay Regional Facility, Waikeria Prison and the various prisons in Auckland, Christchurch, and elsewhere.
